Namaste Momo Cottage is proudly owned and operated by two women—Kumal, who leads the business side, and Uprety, who brings heart and soul to the kitchen. When Uprety arrived in the U.S. in 2015, she had no professional culinary training. Their journey began with YouTube videos and has grown into a passion for sharing the authentic flavors of Nepal and Northern India.

WOMEN LED DREAM

Handmade with Heart
Our momos are hand-shaped in a signature half-moon style—the first shape Uprety ever learned. Each dumpling is filled with chicken, paneer, or vegetables and wrapped in a delicate dough made from simple ingredients.
We honor the Hindu tradition of not serving beef and focus on flavorful vegetarian and chicken dishes. Popular options include steamed or pan-fried momos, spicy chicken chili momos, and our comforting jhol momos served in a rich tomato-based soup.
No momo is complete without our homemade chutneys: a tangy tomato sauce, a spicy chili dip, and a zesty aloo achar—a Nepali-style potato pickle bursting with citrus and spice.
